My Life as a Fairy Tale, a plotless show based on the writings of Hans Christian Andersen, features music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt. Co-produced by Lincoln Center Festival and the Hans Christian Andersen 2005 Foundation and directed by Chen Shi-Zheng, with book by Erik Ehn, the show received its world premiered at the Lincoln Center Festival, July 2005.
