The Cave (with Beryl Korot) Digital MP3 Album

Reich, collaborating with video artist Beryl Korot, re-employs the tape manipulation/cut-up techniques of his earliest work in this prescient 1993 video opera, addressing the Arab-Israeli conflict. Time called it "a breakthrough piece for Reich and a tantalizing glimpse of what opera might be like in the 21st century." The album includes only the audio component of the piece.
